State the removal, repair or overlay assumption used by each supplier so quotes are based on the same condition.

Should underlayers be quoted with the roof covering?
Yes, if the project requires one supplier to coordinate the visible covering and the underlayer. State the required layer sequence so quotes are comparable.
How are roof penetrations listed in an RFQ?
Itemize each penetration by type and roof zone, and reference the current flashing detail. Avoid hiding them inside a general square-metre allowance.
