Set out bolt, screw, nut and washer types with thread, length, head form and coating. Ask whether matching washers and nuts are supplied under the same line item.
Anchors and structural fixing systems
Identify the base material, bore geometry, embedment and any project-prescribed anchor design. Request the supplier to name the exact product and reference evidence for alternatives.
Fixing accessories and installation components
Separate sleeves, collars, caps, setting tools and drilling accessories from the main fastener count. Confirm which components are packed with the anchor and which are ordered separately.

- Describe the base material, loading condition and any project-prescribed performance requirement for the fixing.

- Record diameter, length, head type, drive or thread details and required embedment where relevant.
- Material and finish
- Specify the required metal grade or coating for the exposure, not only the visible colour.
- Pieces and packs
- Give the wanted piece count and ask the supplier to show pack contents, including washers and nuts.

- List setting tools, collars or caps and identify which product documents are requested with the offer.

Do all anchor packages include the matched nut and washer?
Not always. Record the pack contents by line and state whether matched nuts, washers or sleeves are required in the same supply.
Can a similar anchor be quoted without naming the required product?
Only name the project-prescribed anchor first. Any quoted alternative should identify the product and the basis on which equivalence is claimed.
