- Name the panel or facing product and the specified concrete surface finish. Reference the approved temporary works plan for any stripping sequence or timing.
- Dimensions and sheet format
- State panel thickness, length, width and squareness needs; identify the largest single face and permitted joints.
- Reuse and sequence assumption
- Declare how many pours the material must serve and which areas repeat, so suppliers state the same usage basis.
- Support members and connections
- List soldiers, walers, beam depth and connection spacing only as shown by the temporary works information supplied by the project.
- Surface and edge condition
- Describe required face quality, edge sealing, corner treatment and repair limits using project wording rather than product claims.
- Delivery, bundles and handling
- Set bundle sizes, protection during transit and site unloading constraints so the quoted quantity matches arrival conditions.

Can I request panels and support beams in the same line?
Keep them as separate groups. Panels are usually measured by face area, while beams and soldiers follow length or piece counts, so they need distinct quantities.
Does a formwork material price include cutting to size?
Only if the supplier states it. Request a clear separation between full-sheet supply, any cutting service and edge treatment for the site.
